I’m a fourth year architecture student, who spent the last year as an exchange student in Aalto University in Otaniemi. I like dogs, fine dining, climbing, philosophy, history and the arts. Italy has been my point of fascination for about a year now.
Masters level architecture student at Aalto, currently preparing for dissertation. Particularly interested in history of architecture and working with period buildings with some experience also in other fields of architectural design and competition work.
Twearly is a third year architecture student at The University of Bath, UK, currently on exchange at Aalto University. She is interested in renovation, reuse and traditional building methods. She has previously worked at a small practice in Bristol where she worked on projects ranging from residential renovation through to high end interiors and competition work.
In her spare time she likes playing guitar, reading and creating textile art.
I am currently studying architecture and urban planning at the Estonian Academy of Arts. During my studies I have been working at an architecture office in Tallinn and for some period of time also at a dutch office in Shanghai. My experiences come from different exhibitions but also small scale public buildings and extra-large urban planning projects.
I am 4th year architecture student at Estonian Academy of Arts and I am hoping to start writing my thesis next semester. Last year I was on exchange studying at RMIT in Melbourne and KTH Royal Academy of Technology. I am also working part time at an architecture office PART in Tallinn. Apart from architecture I enjoy fine dining and playing tennis also travelling is a big part of my life.
I am currently studying architecture and urban planning in Estonian Academy of Arts, having graduated last spring Tallinn University of Applied Sciences, also applied architecture field.
I like cityscapes and nature and people in it, also cats and other animals. Mixing work in a small interior architecture studio with architecture studies and spicing it up with being a tourguide in summertime.
Blake is originally from Austin Texas, where he completed his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Texas. He is now pursuing his Master of Architecture at Aalto University with a minor in theory and history of architecture.
While not slaving away in studio, Blake enjoys spending time time outdoors cycling, hiking, or playing sports. He is also an avid reader and likes studying languages.
Laura is a student of architecture in Aalto University. Her studies are reaching the final stage and she is starting to work on her Master’s Thesis. In her studies she is focusing on historical environments and restoration and has also studied archaeology in University of Helsinki to broaden her knowledge on how to study historical sites. Lately she has studied restoration of historical timber structures and has also developed an interest for combining modern technology with knowledge on historical environments. Alongside her studies she is working in renovation design.
Karita is interested in context-based architecture and design. She has until recently studied in Aalto University and for one year in TUB (Technische Universität Berlin).
Karita has work experience from several architecture offices during her studies and currently she is working mostly in restoration and renovation. Her thesis studies preservation of late modernism in Finland but as a student she has design experience from a number of historical surroundings.
Merete is an architecture student specialized in urban planning and history. She is currently working on her thesis on the planning of refugee camps.
She is a veteran of architecture excursions all around the world. She is an experienced student and has a forever going interest for different (underground) cultures.
And naturally, eating in Italy is her favorite thing!
