Silhuets and views, skyline
We started sketching from larger scale, outside of the village, moving towards smaller scale inside the village. The public lavatory in the valley was a perfect spot to gaze the whole siluette and skyline of the village. In the village we found out that the views were always framed by the cityscape. The skyline in the narrow streets is actually barely visible as the buildings frame the streets and views in a powerful manner. One specific feature in the village are it’s arhcways, which frame the views like paintings.
Later we found out that the only gazing spot to see the whole village within reasonable walking distance is at the public lavatory.
